Posted by Mona on 04/19/2006 The Best Sauce I have eaten at some of the best Italian restaurants across the country. And I am pretty picky. I had heard this place was good... and it was! I ordered a red sauce pasta dish that I can't remember the name of but it was probably the best sauce I have ever eaten in my 48 years. We had four in our party and everyone loved what they ordered. I will go again when visiting the city. Make reservations, the place is small but very nice! Posted by Ben on 01/10/2006 Good Italian I never know when I go for Italian food if it is going to be good. Being Italian it has to be good. I would go back to Nocello's again and again. My friend's who live in the city love it there and are regulars. It is a great place to go before the theater. The chicken stuffed with goat cheese was fantastic. The stuffed mushrooms were to die for. I would highly recommend it. The owners and head waiter really cater to the show crowd but many regulars know that is is a real find. Drinks are great. Specials are always delicious. Attentive staff, phenomenal food, cozy decor - always a great experience at Nocello. I've introduced many friends to this restaurant too, and all have loved it. Perfect with a group or for a romantic dinner for two. I will continue to eat here, and recommend it. We like to share risotto or mussels as an appetizer. The specials are difficult to choose from too -- rack of lamb with parmesan, ravioli with 4 cheeses, scallops. A very good value for the quality of dishes - we like to bring out of town guests and always get positive responses.
